June 26, 2013 12:13 pm I'm fairly sure there were a few issues of Justice league and/or World's Finest before The Dark Knight Returns that had Batman and Superman at odds with each other's opinion. I really wish I had my back issues handy to check this story/stories out but it would have been around '83-'84. Possibly written by Doug Moench or Mike W Barr? Around World's Finest 290, maybe?A disagreement about the fate of an alien world? I just remember a scene where Superman thinks to himself "I may not like the man (Batman) but..." somethingsomethingsomething. Maybe someone out there knows what I'm on about. So I think a division of the super team was already shown back then. Before TDKR.

September 16, 2011 2:46 pm I really liked Captain Marvel in the JSA books a few years back. And I always enjoy whenever he teams up with the big blue!Heard once that Captain Marvel Jr was Elvis' favourite comic book character!
